Drive Zone Fleet

A clearer way to manage fleet zone charges.

Drive Zone Fleet is being planned to help fleet managers spot chargeable work-vehicle zone entries, keep vehicle records organised, assign drivers, review payment status, and export finance-ready records from one manager queue.

Fewer missed follow-ups Bring chargeable and review-needed zone entries into a manager queue before they become admin surprises.
Cleaner vehicle records Keep fleet vehicles, assignments, depot or team tags, and archived states in one operational view.
Finance-ready exports Export CSVs and keep an audit history for payment review, internal follow-up, and evidence checks.

Who it is for

Built for fleet managers who need less charge admin.

The planned fleet service is intended for service teams, delivery fleets, maintenance teams, and field teams using shared or assigned vehicles, plus the finance teams and operations managers who need a clearer way to review charge events afterwards.

Fleet workflow

The first workflow helps managers close the charge loop.

The planned fleet workflow keeps the manager surface focused on the work that happens after a driver enters ULEZ, Congestion Charge, Clean Air Zone, Low Emission Zone, tunnel, or local road-charge areas in a work vehicle.

1

Drivers use work driving mode

Work journeys can feed the fleet queue with assigned vehicle context while personal driving stays separate.

2

Charge events land in one queue

Chargeable, provisional, or review-needed zone entries can be submitted to the organisation with the assigned vehicle snapshot.

3

Managers close the loop

Fleet teams can review attention items, update payment status, export CSVs, and keep an audit trail of manager actions.

Operating limits

Clear limits keep the fleet workflow practical.

  • No live map of drivers.
  • No continuous route tracking or route replay.
  • No driver scoring, productivity ranking, or insurance-risk analytics.
  • No automatic payments to TfL, Clean Air Zone operators, councils, or tunnel charge operators in v1.

Licensing

Fleet licensing stays separate from consumer Premium.

Drive Zone Premium for individual users remains an App Store subscription. Fleet access is planned as a direct organisation licence, with seats, admin access, rollout scope, retention, and support expectations agreed before rollout.

Organisation-managed seats Employees receive fleet access through their organisation, not through an individual in-app purchase.
Fleet pricing by discussion Pricing is not published while the product is in fleet planning. Fleet size, support needs, and rollout scope matter.
Consumer path protected The public App Store app and consumer Premium flow continue to use StoreKit for ordinary users.
